2016 Quail Hill Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

This Chardonnay shows beautiful balance and finesse, with some weight and texture on the palate bringing notes of lemon custard and pie crust. The finish is clean and fresh with tangerine and wet stone, leaving your mouth watering for more.

Winemaker's Notes

This stunning Chardonnay comes from the 45-acre home ranch of Lynmar Estate, called Quail Hill Vineyard. Our small block of Chardonnay came was planted in 1974 to the Rued clone, which is well known for its elegant floral aromatics. This wine was aged on the lees for 16 months, which adds layers of complexity and texture on the palate.
