Radici della Famiglia Sedici

Tasting Notes

The Sedici boasts its Italian heritage, showing the beautiful contrasting aromas of cherry and cranberry balanced against dusty earth. The mouth brings more bright red plum, and a vibrant acidity thanks to the Sangiovese. The Cabernet brings a powerful tannin structure that will enable this wine to age gracefully for many years. The toasty vanilla oak characteristics, dried fruit, and a touch of earth marry so well that it is difficult to tease out the details. This unique blend is favored each year for its versatility - it is a natural to serve with hors d’oeuvres right through the meal, and on to a cheese course.

Winemaker's Notes
