2017 TR Passalacqua Cabernet Sauvignon, Block 10

Tasting Notes

This wine shows brambly dark fruit with black plum compote and pomegranate, easing into vanilla bean and cedar notes. The tannins are softened from two years of barrel aging, but the palate is still full with pleasant structure that should allow for great ageability. The finish is long and lingering with more plum and candied cherry notes. Delicious and approachable, this wine will compliment most pork and red meat dishes, but is also beautiful paired with a relaxing evening.

Winemaker's Notes

Block 10 on the TR Passalacqua Ranch is on a gentle North facing slope that begins at the lowest point on the ranch. The indirect sunlight late into the growing season allows for slow even ripening of the grapes. This unique spot produces the signature black cherry aromatics and silky smooth tannin structure.
