Tasting Notes
Grown in the Russian River Valley, these grapes are protected and cooled by coastal fog during the ripening season, allowing them to maintain their acidity. The resulting wine shows vibrant citrus with a hint of minerality on the nose leading into a textured and fresh mouthfeel. Mandarin, vanilla and lime zest are up front, continuing on with a lingering finish.
Winemaker's Notes
The 2024 Quail Forever Chardonnay will pair beautifully with most upland game dishes. Its refreshing brightness will also pair well with geese and most fish, though it has enough weight on the palate to stand up to richer dishes or heavier game, such as boar.
